We have a cedar shake home built in 2005. It is on the ocean and we have had issues with mold on the front of the house. We are treating the mold (again) this year and as the remainder of the home is graying nicely, would like to use the extreme wood stain in Driftwood on the front of the home. Is ours a recommended application? I plan to order the sample, but wanted feedback prior.
    Best Regards,
    Jennifer

I am looking to purchase your stain (cedar tone) and have some questions regarding the sample stain I am going to purchase first. I live in the Midwest and was curious if the stain will last a few years before I would need to stain again?

Yes typically lasts 2-3 years in the Midwest.

After sanding you should use the Defy Wood cleaner to prep. Do not use more than 60-80 grit paper.
